Field Service
For more than a decade, Foresight has maintained or exceeded current OEM support levels by providing highly skilled service technicians for on-site preventive and corrective maintenance. Using an extensive database of pre-screened engineering and manufacturing candidates, Foresight has the ability to determine the most effective technician, according to your company’s specific requirements. Our screening process is performed by our staff of semiconductor equipment experts, ensuring the first candidate is the right candidate.
Our personnel are already to OEM requirements, so they can be on-site and producing immediately. You’ll reduce the risk of hiring an unqualified applicant and benefit from the flexibility of having a qualified candidate available for contracts ranging from temporary to long-term with responsibility for department or platform service needs. We guarantee their performance and your satisfaction.
To ensure you receive the best fit based on functional area, Foresight offers the following three technical levels.
Level-1 (1-2 years of tool-specific experience): Technician possesses the ability to operate and manipulate the tool manually in order to perform routine low-level PMs (i.e., wet-cleans, process kit changes, pad changes, conditioner arm rebuilds, profile testing, running automatic sequences to verify functionality of the system).
Level-2 (2 -4 years of tool-specific experience): Technician can perform all Level 1 functions, in addition to troubleshooting, addressing qualification issues, verifying MFC flows, leak-check system, RF calibrations and full ability to manipulate tool manually for all functions, as well as wafer recovery. Technician works with little or no supervision and must be OEM trained on the specified toolset.
Level-3 (4 or more years of tool-specific experience): Technician is a system expert who can perform all Level 1 and Level 2 functions and train junior techs on system. He or she possesses the ability to work on more than one system at a time without supervision, in addition to performing as shift lead. The technician must be OEM trained on specified toolset and retain intimate and detailed knowledge of specified system.
Our field service technicians are backed by a staff of in-house engineering and manufacturing experts, specifically trained to help solve the most difficult field problems.
We currently staff all functional groups, including the following:
