History

Foresight Technologies was founded in 1995 and has grown throughout its career. It has expanded from a 6,000 sf facility in 1995, to 22,000 sf in 1997 and currently employ 100 skilled employees in a state of the art, 50,000 sf production facility in Tempe, Arizona. Key milestones in our company’s development include:

  • 1997- Achieved world class capabilities and expertise in non-metallic machining.
  • 1998- Conversion to fully integrated shop floor planning and ERP system to manage growth in contract manufacturing.
  • 2001- Conversion to higher efficiency Horizontal Machining Centers for complex metal machining work to meet future customers requirements for cost reduction.
  • 2002- Acquisition of Sientec, a specialty provider of Chemical Mechanical Planarization pad processing services for industry leaders.
  • 2003- Acquisition of Sage Technologies Corporation, a leading design and manufacturer of wet processing equipment for over a decade.
  • 2003/2004- Assembled world class equipment engineering team from the senior levels of the largest OEMs and fabs.
  • 2005- Completed upgrade and move to new production facilities, laid out to achieve highly efficient production of assemblies, from small subsystems all the way to 100 foot long, fully automated systems.
